I have been a member of LJ for quite some time now, but I have to say I only originally came here so I could read and post comments concerning "Queer as Folk" (US version) on other people's Journals.
As much as I admire Gale Harold the greatest obsession/love of my life is the actor Randy Harrison who I first became aware of when he played the part of Justin Taylor in QAF as soon as I set eyes on him I was besotted and since then have followed his career, avidly searching the net for all the info I can get about plays he is appearing in and anything else he plays a part in which gives me so much pleasure, he really is the most talented actor as well as being an all round entertainer, I especially enjoy seeing Randy singing and dancing and my dream is that one day he will appear in a musical again albeit on stage or in a full length film that would be wonderful.
I have never quite understood why I feel so obsessed with Randy, but to me he really is just the most beautiful looking person so I guess it's just that age old thing 'physical attraction' and as one young fan said to me once when I told her I couldn't understand it...."It's because he's absolutely gorgeous isn't it" ....I guess she's right, well he certainly is in my eyes, he's my obsession and I just adore him.
EDITED December 1st 2009 - My wish has been granted and Randy is appearing in another musical its called POP and he plays the part of Andy Warhol........here's a clip from it.
